Just arrived in Texas to stand
the 2005 breeding season for his new owner, Rick Kiekow. The
above photo was taken the day he got onto the trailer for
his new home.
Here is a proven stallion in every sense
of the word. On the track he was the Leading 3-Year-Old in
France and Leading 4-Year-Old in Oman with 4 stakes wins
including the Prix Ourour and Al Khoud S. He has sired 3
Darley Champions among his stakes winners and is now
beginning to show success as a broodmare sire.
Ala Croixnoire has 29 winners (10
stakes winners) from 40 starters. His leading runners
include STELLARR ($142,448, Darley Champion
3-Year-Old Colt), who is now running and winning in the UAE,
CROIXNOIRE ($134,538, Darley Champion 3-Year-Old
Colt), BONUZ ($90,283, Darley Champion Sprinter).
While these three horses were sprint specialists, Ala
Croixnoire can also sire the distance winner such as ON
THE MUFV, who won the 1 1/4 mile Arabian Cup Classic
(G1).
Ala Croixnoire is by Tidjani, who was
undefeated in 5 starts in France. He has sired many stakes
winners all over the world, including US standouts
MAGELLAN FRSB ($164,107, Darley Horse of the Year,
Darley Champion Older Horse) and KADOR DE BLAZIET
($62,556). His dam is an unraced daughter of the important
stallion, Baroud III. While Ala Croixnoire was her best
runner, she also produced 2 other winners.
1988 Bay, 15hh, Texas Accredited and
ARC Nominated Sire. Transported semen or mare care
